Despite the rise of social media and other digital channels, email remains a direct and personal communication and a way to communicate with your audience that is unlike any other tool out there. There's a couple of reasons why social media is a leased space, meaning you do not own your fans or your followers. Social media does. For example, if you were to get hacked, or if Facebook was to go down, or maybe Instagram shut your account down, you would lose all of your fans and all ways to communicate with them. But if you own your email list and you've strategically built it, it's yours no matter what. So you can continue to talk to them. It goes right to their inbox. It's a very direct way to continue to grow your relationship with your clients or customers. So email gives you the ability to reach your clients directly without relying on any other tool like social media algorithms. When you send an email. It lands right in their inbox, offering a personalized space just for your message. Email marketing has been shown to deliver an impressive ROI, return on investment.
